Piso Livadi Paros
Piso Livadi Paros
Piso Livadi Paros is a small seaside village on the east coast of Paros which still has plenty of charm with its colourful fishing boats in the sheltered harbour and a row of cafes and tavernas lining the eastern side of the harbour , between the harbour and the sea across to Naxos.
Piso Livadi Paros is about 30 minutes by car from Parikia and about 20 minutes from Naoussa, both pretty easy drives. It’s a good location to visit with plenty to look at, photograph and sample and also lots to look at nearby to Piso Livadi too.
What to do in Piso Livadi Paros
Wander around
The first and easiest thing to do is just to wander around – it wont take long! Stroll along the the harbour wall and look out over the sea side (careful if the waves are breaking over the wall!) towards Naxos with Mikri Vigla being the closest point. The fishing boats moored along the harbour make for colourful photos and you can look back towards the sandy beach outside Remezzo cafe. Then the tough job is to pick where to get your coffee or lunch or drink, with plenty of venues to choose from (see below).
Piso Livadi boat trip
This might take a bit of planning but if you are staying close to Piso and you fancy a boat trip, an all day trip on the Captain Yannis kaiki is a great option. It’s an all day affair and the crew will take you around the southern part of Paros and across to Antiparos. The trip includes plenty of food for lunch (choice of souvlaki – yum) and drinks as well as many options for swimming in deserted coves and even caves. There are several other boats running tours out of the harbour if you’re looking for other options.
Visit Logaras Beach
Logaras is a fairly quiet beach with lots of accommodation sitting behind it. It’s a mixed sandy/rocky beach with the best sand part to be found at the northern end towards Piso Livadi – maybe one to use those beach shoes you brought with you. A mix of organised and free on the sand, but no free shelter.
Punda Coast Beach Club Paros
Punda Beach is just to the south of Piso Livadi and the Punda Coast Beach Club brings a little of the Mykonos vibe to Paros – in price as well as in style. But if you’re looking for that sort of thing, it’s got a pool, quality loungers and an endless supply of clubby tunes to keep the punters happy. The beach itself is nice enough but the club does rather dominate.
Golden Beach to Piso Livadi hike
If you’re feeling energetic, you can walk along the coastal trail from Golden Beach all the way to Piso Livadi. It’s not difficult walking, the views are fantastic and you’ll come across several beaches along the way with options for stopping and refreshments.
