Lefkes Village Paros
Lefkes Village Paros offers a peaceful respite and a great contrast to the more touristy areas of the island. Set in the hills in the centre of the island, Lefkes charms visitors with its traditional Cycladic architecture, cobbled alleyways, picture-perfect scenes, stunning views and quaint village ambience. It used to be the capital of Paros when capitals were located inland and retains some of that air of importance.
It’s easy to get to by car (Naoussa to Lefkes Village Paros is about 20 minutes), the parking is easy and here are the best things to do once you are there.

Enjoy the Lefkes Paros Karavolas Festival
The Greeks love a festival of course and this one celebrates the Parian snails – but dont worry, this is just an excuse for a night of music, dancing and celebration with more than just snails on offer. Skordalia, chickpeas and (no doubt) plenty of wine will be on offer.
If you happen to be around the area at the time of the festival (just after mid-August) it’s definitely worth a visit.
